「eco保單」就是「電子保單」。 明台產險為了降低紙張的使用量，希望與保戶共同推行無紙化作業並為保護地球環境資源盡一點心力，「eco」是「ecological」的縮寫，表示生態環保；「e」同時代表電子「electronic」的「e」，所以我們將「電子保單」稱為「eco保單」。 明台產險會依據「電子簽章法」，經由臺灣網路認證股份有限公司認證、加密後，以E-mail、手機簡訊等方式提供電子化的TPK及PDF檔保單給要保人，取代傳統紙本保單。
