  • Q5 如因航程中多需處轉機,並發生多次延誤,則延誤時間是否可合併計算? | For multiple flight delays during connections, can the delay times be combined?

    不論行程是否連續,轉機每次誤點,均屬獨立事件,不可合併計算班機延誤時間。

     

    Regardless of itinerary continuity, each connection delay is considered a separate incident, and delay times cannot be combined.

  • Q6 返回中華民國境內時發現行李延誤,是不是能獲得賠償? | Can I receive compensation if my luggage is delayed upon returning to Taiwan?

    行李延誤費用承保範圍是被保險人於保險期間進行海外旅行,故被保險人於返回中華民國境內時之行李延誤,依條款約定,無法獲得賠償。

     

    Baggage delay coverage only applies during overseas travel periods, therefore delays occurring upon return to Taiwan are not eligible for compensation according to policy terms.

  • Q7 當發生旅遊事故時,被保險人應注意哪些事情? | What should the insured person pay attention to when a travel incident occurs?

    1.留意自身安全。

    2.尋求相關單位的援助。(例如:各駐外使館或代表處、警察單位等)。

    3.有關醫療費用部份,不論意外或疾病,請務必申請診斷書及醫療收據正本(若當地民情許可,建議多申請備份)。

    4.有關旅程變更(更改)部份,請妥善保留所有消費(支出)單據正本。

    5.隨身物品(文件)遭遇竊盜、強盜、搶奪或毀損滅失、遺失時,被保險人應在24小時內,向當地警政單位、住宿之旅館或所搭乘之公共交通工具業者報案並取得報案證明及損失清單。

    2. Seek assistance from relevant authorities (e.g., embassies, representative offices, police).
    3. For medical expenses, whether accident or illness, obtain original diagnosis certificates and medical receipts (request multiple copies if locally acceptable).
    4. For itinerary changes, keep all original expense receipts.
    5. For personal belongings/documents theft, robbery, damage, or loss, report to local police, accommodation, or public transport operator within 24 hours and obtain incident report and loss inventory.

  • Q8 航空公司已宣布罷工,再進行投保可以理賠嗎? | Can I claim insurance if I purchase coverage after an airline has announced a strike?

    依旅平險條款所示,要保人或被保險人向本公司申請訂立保險契約時已發生之事故乃屬於特別不保事項。
    保戶若在已宣布或已發生罷工事件後才向本公司投保旅行不便險,關於因罷工所導致的旅行不便事故(如班機取消、旅程取消等)本公司不負賠償責任。

     

    According to travel insurance terms, incidents that have occurred before the policyholder applies for insurance coverage are specially excluded items.
    If travel inconvenience insurance is purchased after a strike has been announced or occurred, the company is not liable for travel inconvenience claims (such as flight cancellations or trip cancellations) caused by the strike.
