旅行社包機(旅遊行程或機位銷售予不特定旅客)符合承保範圍內。反之,企業或私人包機、特定活動包機、政府或救援包機(專門為某特定用途及目的之包機)非屬承保範圍。
Travel agency charter flights — where the itinerary or seats are sold to the general public — fall within the scope of coverage. Conversely, corporate or private charters, special-event charters, and government or rescue charters (i.e., those arranged for a specific designated purpose) are excluded from coverage.

Q29 各公司的個人海外旅行不便保險,其承保範圍與保險單條款均應與參考條款一致,但保險金額是否有相關規定? | Personal Overseas Travel Inconvenience Insurance offered by various insurers must align with the reference policy terms regarding coverage scope and policy conditions, but are there specific regulations regarding the sum insured?
保險金額由各公司依商品開發程序,評估相關風險之可承受程度,風險胃納及風險控管措施等因素後,自行決定各項承保項目保險金額之額度,惟為符合損害填補原則,定額給付型商品保險金額之限額如下:
(一) 班機延誤保險:一次式給付商品為新臺幣六千元,累進式給付商品為新臺幣一萬二千元。
(二) 行李延誤保險:新臺幣六千元。
(三) 行李損失保險:新臺幣六千元。
(四) 旅行文件損失保險:新臺幣三千元。Each insurer independently determines the sum insured for each coverage item based on its product development procedures, risk tolerance assessment, risk appetite, and risk management measures. However, to comply with the indemnity principle, the maximum sum insured for fixed-benefit products is as follows:
(1) Flight Delay Insurance: NTD 6,000 for single payment products; NTD 12,000 for progressive payment products.
(2) Baggage Delay Insurance: NTD 6,000.
(3) Baggage Loss Insurance: NTD 6,000.
(4) Travel Document Loss Insurance: NTD 3,000. -
Q30 個人海外旅行不便保險之投保時有沒有特別的規定? | Are there any special requirements when purchasing Personal Overseas Travel Inconvenience Insurance?
各公司核保時應評估被保險人之投保狀況,其投保目的及保險金額是否符合公司之商品適合度政策;另外,為確保被保險人所投保之定額給付型商品的保險金額符合損害填補原則,被保險人在同一保險期間內(即保險期間有重疊,但不限於保險期間完全一致)之有效保險契約以二張為限且不得由同一保險公司承保(即單一保險公司以承保一張為限)。
At the time of underwriting, each insurer shall assess the insured's coverage status and whether the insured's purpose and the sum insured align with the company's product suitability policy. Furthermore, to ensure compliance with the indemnity principle for fixed-benefit products, the number of valid policies held by the insured during the same policy period (i.e., overlapping policy periods, not necessarily identical policy periods) is limited to two, and no two such policies may be issued by the same insurer (i.e., each insurer may underwrite only one policy per insured).

被保險人於海外旅行期間內,因竊盜、強盜與搶奪致其所擁有且置於行李箱、手提箱或類似容器內之個人物品遭受損失,保險公司依保險契約約定之保險金額給付保險金。

During the overseas travel period, if the insured's personal belongings — stored inside a suitcase, carry-on bag, or similar container — are lost due to theft, robbery, or forcible seizure, the insurer shall pay the benefit in accordance with the sum insured specified in the policy.
