Q97 被保險人失蹤之理賠處理方式為何? | How are insurance claims handled when the insured person is missing?
被保險人於其保險期間內因保險契約條款所約定之意外傷害事故失蹤者,於戶籍資料所載失蹤之日起滿一年仍未尋獲時,或要保人、受益人能提出證明文件足以認為該被保險人極可能因發生保險契約所約定之意外傷害事故而死亡者,保險公司將依保險契約之約定給付身故保險金。 但如日後發現該被保險人生還時,受益人應將已領取之身故保險金歸還保險公司。
If the insured person goes missing due to an accident covered by the insurance policy and remains unfound for one year from the date of disappearance as recorded in household registration, or if the policyholder or beneficiary can provide evidence suggesting the insured likely died from a covered accident, the insurance company will pay death benefits as specified in the policy.
However, if the insured person is later found alive, the beneficiary must return the death benefits to the insurance company. -

被保險人於海外旅行期間內,因本次旅程使用之旅行文件被強盜、搶奪、竊盜或遺失時且重新申辦文件該文件時,本公司依約定之保險金額給付保險金。

Q100 旅程中如果遇到航空公司安檢人員罷工,旅遊不便險可以理賠嗎? | Does travel inconvenience insurance cover situations where airport security staff are on strike?
(1)以「旅程取消險」為例,被保險人於預定海外旅程開始前20日至海外旅行期間開始前(尚未出國),因預定「搭乘之公共交通工具業者之受僱人或機場之地勤、運務人員罷工罷工,導致所預定搭乘之班次取消或延誤達二十四小時而必須取消預定的全部旅程,依保單約定範圍給付保險金。機場安檢人員可視為地勤相關人員,故如果旅程中遇到航空公司安檢人員罷工導致旅程取消,符合本承保範圍。
(2)以「班機延誤險」為例,保戶若因罷工事件造成預定搭乘的班機延誤或取消(不限是否已出國),仍搭乘「原訂」班機或改搭「其他」班機,因此延誤達四小時以上者,將依保單條款約定給付保險金,相關理賠申請文件請參考保單條款所列。
*請注意:依旅平險條款所示,要保人向本公司申請訂立保險契約時已發生之事故乃屬於「特別不保事項」。故保戶若在航空公司已宣布班機取消或延誤才向本公司投保旅行不便險,則不在理賠範圍。
(3)以「旅程更改險」為例,保戶若於海外旅行期間(已出國)因「搭乘之公共交通工具業者之受僱人或機場之地勤、運務人員罷工」,因該罷工事件導致須進行旅程更改而所增加的交通或住宿費用,本公司依保單條款約定負理賠之責。機場安檢人員視為機場之地勤相關人員,故如果旅程中遇到航空公司安檢人員罷工導致旅程取消,符合本承保範圍。(1) Under the Trip Cancellation Benefit: if, during the period beginning 20 days prior to the scheduled overseas trip departure date and ending at the commencement of the overseas trip (before departure), the employees of a scheduled public transportation carrier or the ground-handling or operations personnel at an airport go on strike, causing the scheduled flight to be cancelled or delayed by twenty-four hours or more such that the insured must cancel the entire planned itinerary, the Company will pay the benefit within the scope agreed in the policy. Airport security personnel may be regarded as ground-handling-related personnel; therefore, if a trip is cancelled due to a strike by airport security personnel, the claim falls within the scope of this coverage.
(2) Under the Flight Delay Benefit: if a policyholder's scheduled flight is delayed or cancelled due to a strike (regardless of whether the policyholder has already departed), and the policyholder travels on the originally scheduled flight or switches to an alternative flight, resulting in a total delay of four hours or more, the Company will pay the benefit in accordance with the policy terms; please refer to the policy terms for the required claim documents.
*Please note: Per the Travel Personal Accident Insurance policy terms, any loss event that has already occurred at the time the policyholder applies to enter into an insurance contract with the Company constitutes a 'Special Exclusion.' Therefore, if a policyholder purchases Travel Inconvenience Insurance after the airline has already announced a flight cancellation or delay, the claim will fall outside the scope of coverage.(3) Under the Trip Alteration Benefit: if, during the overseas trip period (after departure), the insured must alter the itinerary due to a strike by employees of a public transportation carrier or ground-handling or operations personnel at an airport, and additional transportation or accommodation expenses are thereby incurred, the Company shall be liable for such expenses in accordance with the policy terms. Airport security personnel are regarded as ground-handling-related personnel at the airport; therefore, if a trip must be altered due to a strike by airport security personnel, the claim falls within the scope of this coverage.

1.信用卡提供給持卡人的保險福利是因班機延誤或取消,持卡人若居住所在地與機場所在縣市不同,交通往返間緊急且必要的費用支出補償。
2.若出發前已知班機延誤/取消或無交通往返必要者,則不在可補償範圍。
