    In recent years, we have faced increasingly diverse and complex risks, including climate change, severe natural disasters, depletion of global resources, geopolitical tensions, social inequality, and cybersecurity threats. These challenges not only significantly impact corporate activities but also compel us to reassess the urgency of implementing measures to achieve a sustainable society.

    Amid such a volatile environment, MS&AD Group, as a risk expert in the insurance industry, plays a vital role in both daily life and business operations. From risk prediction and prevention to recovery support, we fulfill our mission by contributing to the creation of a sustainable society. As an insurance company, it is our responsibility—and indeed our core mission—to lead efforts that foster social stability and sustainable transformation.

    The medium-term business plan (2022–2025) of MSIG Mingtai is centered on “creating shared value” and contributing to solving societal challenges. Our goal is to grow alongside society and become a company that helps build a resilient and sustainable future. To realize this vision, all our employees actively engage with social issues, delivering innovative products and thoughtful services that create a reliable environment where customers can live and work with peace of mind. We also continue to collaborate with all stakeholders to contribute to a society where people can live securely and pursue their ambitions with confidence.

    As a core overseas operation of the MSIG Group, MSIG Mingtai has long been deeply rooted in Taiwan, playing a crucial role in safeguarding the daily lives of individuals and supporting corporate activities. We are fully committed to ESG initiatives, including signing a partnership MOU with the National Park Service, Ministry of the Interior, forming strategic alliances with enterprises, and promoting internal energy-saving and carbon-reduction competitions—all as part of our efforts to advance CSV (Creating Shared Value) activities.

    Looking ahead, MSIG Mingtai will continue to drive digital transformation, strengthen cybersecurity, and respond to emerging protection needs. Holding ourselves to higher standards, we will integrate innovative technologies, sustainability principles, and human-centered care.     In the face of a rapidly changing environment and evolving societal needs, MSIG Mingtai remains committed to the principles of integrity and professionalism, steady management, and social care, striving to strike a balance between business performance and sustainable development. In 2024, we translated our ESG vision into concrete action, advancing sustainable value across both our internal operations and external services.

    In our commitment to external stakeholders and customers, MSIG Mingtai continues to invest in community education services while promoting the digital transformation of claims services. Our proactive efforts earned us two Taiwan Sustainability Action Awards (TSAA) and enabled us to advance financial inclusion and social well-being through rural transportation programs, campus earthquake safety initiatives, and traffic safety scholarships. On the environmental front, we signed a Habitat Management MOU with Taijiang National Park and actively promoted green procurement, adoption of renewable energy, and internal energy-saving competitions—concrete steps toward low-carbon transition and environmental preservation.

    In terms of product and service innovation, MSIG Mingtai is dedicated to developing sustainable insurance solutions, ranging from Agricultural Insurance, Third-party Liability Insurance for Delivery Persons and Group Accident Insurance for Athletes—meeting diverse societal needs and demonstrating a strong commitment to both performance and social responsibility. On the corporate governance front, we recognize that steady corporate growth relies on robust risk control and forward-thinking innovation. Through enhanced risk management mechanisms and refined premium pricing strategies, we achieve the long-term profitability and sustainability. In 2024, our efforts were once again affirmed with the twAAA rating—the highest level in property insurance industry—from Taiwan Ratings, reflecting our solid financial standing.

    Internally, we place employee well-being as a top priority. MSIG Mingtai continues to build a supportive and fulfilling workplace, valuing talent development and employee welfare. Through a variety of training programs, we have enhanced cross-disciplinary skills in areas such as AI, social sustainability, and treating customers fairly. We also offer Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), in-office massage therapy for the visually impaired, and host Sustainability Family Days—efforts that cultivate a workplace culture grounded in trust and holistic well-being.
